小中学生向けの「読む」「聞く」力を測るテスト

TOEFL Primary®のリーディングとリスニングを評価するテストで、TOEFL Primary® Step 1と、難易度が高いTOEFL Primary® Step 2があります。
テストでは、家庭や学校での先生や友達とのやりとりや、物語などから出題されます。
英語を学び始めてまもないレベルから、日常生活ではコミュニケーションに困らない程度までの英語力※を測ることができます。

どんな英語力が問われるの？

TOEFL Primary® Step 1・Step 2 は、リーディングとリスニングの2つのセクションから構成され、どの問題にも3つの選択肢があります。

TOEFL Primary® Step 1では

  • 日常生活に関連する基本的な単語や文章がわかる
  • 絵に合った語句がわかる

Step 1 のリーディング問題では、絵に合う単語を選択する問題が出題されます。

TOEFL Primary® Step 1・Step 2共通するのは

  • 75語程度のメールや手紙の文章を理解できる
  • メニュー、スケジュール、ポスターなどから情報を見つけ、解釈できる

  • 50語程度の教室でのアナウンスや、友達からのメッセージを聞いて、目的を理解できる

TOEFL Primary® Step 2 では

  • なじみのない言葉を含む250語程度の文章を理解できる
  • 物語や理科、社会などの新しいことを学ぶ文章で、全体の内容を関連付けたり、推測して結論を導き出せる

“Please, Mom,” Lucy said. “Can we drive to the school? I won't get out of the car—I promise—and we can keep the windows closed. Just one little look. Please?”

受験の流れ

お申し込み〜テスト前日まで

テスト日程を確認する

まずは「テスト日程」でテスト日をご確認ください。

テスト申込・受験料支払い

お申し込みの前に、「テスト受験要領」を必ずお読みください。「マイページ」へログインのうえ、テストごとに定められた申込期間内にお申し込みください。

WEB受験票の確認

テストの約2週間前に、WEB受験票が公開されます。
「受験詳細のお知らせ」メールをお送りいたしますので、「マイページ」にログインし、試験日時・会場情報をご確認ください。
WEB受験票を印刷してテスト当日に持参する必要はありません。

テストに向けた準備

「サンプル問題」や「公式問題集」や「ファミマプリント」を活用し、テストに向けた準備を進めてください。

テスト当日〜オフィシャルスコアレポートの確認まで

テスト当日：テスト開始前

監督者から日本語でテストについての説明があります。
受験者が小学生以下の保護者の方は、テスト開始直前まで会場に入室が可能です。アンサーシート表面の受験者情報を保護者が代筆いただけます。

当日の持ち物

  • 氏名と生年月日が確認できる本人確認書類（保険証・学生証・パスポート・マイナンバーカードなど）の原本
  • HB以上の鉛筆またはシャープペンシル
  • 消しゴム

テスト当日：テストの受験

リーディング、リスニングのセクションやパートのはじめに例題があります。例題もかならず解答し、マークしてください。
間違っても減点されませんので、わからない問題は選択肢をどれか一つ塗りつぶして、次に進んでください。

テスト受験後：結果速報の閲覧とオフィシャルスコアレポートの確認

テスト日から約2週間後に「マイページ」にて、スコアの確認ができます。
テスト日から約4週間後に、日本語での解説が付いたスコアレポートを郵送いたします。スコアレポートについては「テスト結果の内容について」よりご確認ください。
スコアレポートの再発行や複数枚発行を希望される方、スピード採点を希望される方は、「スコアレポート発行依頼」よりお手続きをお願いいたします。

別途、アカウント登録が必要になります。
